Join Journal ATX in an intimate collaging event. Our goal is to host a space for our members, new or current, to tap into their creative side. This is an opportunity to pause and reflect on how you feel during this phase of the year. Rather than press heavy expectations with timed goals, we encourage you to take this space to breathe and craft your heart out with the company of others. This event is free of charge but we only have 10 spots available! Limited art supplies will be provided and we will be providing free Affogatos (homemade vanilla ice topped with a shot of hot espresso - a fantastic afternoon pick-me-up!) We will be meeting at the Alexan Garza Ranch which has available parking in front of the building! Instructions on how to find us and our private room will be sent to you via email closer to the event date. Please bring the following: ScissorsAt least 3 magazines (Purchasing from Half Priced Books is recommended!)Your own Journal or paper medium to collage withOptional: Stickers, Newspaper, Literary text you’re willing to cut and use for collagingMarkers, colored pencils, pens, washi tape, etc.
