Please join UC San Diego ACTRI Center for Community Health and POC Fungi Community to honor San Diego food justice heroes!Enjoy a fun night of viewing short films, eating good food, and engaging in discussion on community food justice, fungi, and Indigenous foodways! Mario Ceballos of POC Fungi Community will lead a cooking demonstration featuring local Foodshed produce!Watch 2 new [very] short food justice films.Enjoy a cooking demo featuring local produce and Indigenous foods.Meet frontline food heroes getting good food into our neighborhoods.Please plan 10 mins extra to find street parking in the neighborhood.This event is organized and facilitated by UC San Diego Altman Clinical and Translational Research Institute, Center for Community Health.
