Description

6pm Eucharist according to the Scottish Book of Common Prayer of 1637, promulgated by Charles I. The Eucharist is sung simply to the music of John Merbecke. The Celebrant is Fr Graeme Napier, former Chaplain to The Royal Stuart Society (UK), and Rector of St John's. The preacher is Fr Stephen Morris, AChSL, SCP, Priest-in-charge, Church of the Good Shepherd. Following the Eucharist we repair to the church's art gallery for a simple buffet supper and 17th C song around the harpsichord. All is, of course, free, but registration is very helpful for catering purposes for the supper. If you will be attending the Eucharist but not the supper there is no need to register. You must be fully vaccinated to attend any event at St John's. Face-coverings are optional.
