About Fearless Brown Girls: Fearless Brown Girls® Incorporated, a 501c3 organization that focuses on character development, mental wellness, and teaching financial literacy to teenage brown girls. Our mission is to transform and empower our girls’ self-confidence, mindset, and ability to acquire healthy financial habits as they mature into adulthood. In the United States, the average Black and Hispanic/Latino household earns about half as much as the average White household and owns only about 15 to 20 percent as much net wealth. Through fun & engaging education activities, exposure, mentorship, and sisterhood, we will contribute to closing the Wealth Gap that exists in these communities. About Building a Fearless Foundation: One of our core programs, Building a Fearless Foundation, was created to promote confidence & authenticity, mental wellness, career & entrepreneurial aspirations, and financial literacy. Annually, we will invite amazing female leaders to enlighten and inspire our young girls in the aforementioned areas. In addition, we will hire local minority, woman-owned businesses to further expose our girls to career path possibilities and to invest money back into our community.
