There is strength in unity; however, there is also strength in diversity that fosters innovation and enhances performance. In a nutshell, inclusion is the sense of belonging. As an inclusive leader, it is important to help team members feel like they are a part of the organization. An inclusive leader will not bury his or her head in the sand when they need to speak up regarding inequities. An inclusive leader makes teamwork and inclusion a priority and holds others accountable. During the recruitment process, an inclusive leader develops mentoring programs and will hold managers accountable for promoting productive work environments. This workshop will provide tools and best practices for leaders to develop and promote a more inclusive work environment. Workshop Objectives: To understand how to create a work environment where team members have safe spaces to be their authentic selves without feeling excluded.To reevaluate organizational systems and develop strategies that drive change for inclusion.To learn to lead by example by actively engaging in diversity and inclusion initiatives.Registration is required. Food and drinks will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own as well!
