Description

The GreenHome Institute is collaborating with the Kent County Community Action Agency to help you understand the benefits of being a program partner with the agency to deliver weatherization services to people in need across West Michigan. The action agency will detail the program benefits, requirements, education opportunities, and payments available to deliver these services to people who need a hand-up with reducing their utilities, cutting carbon emissions, and being healthier. Then GreenHome Institue will discuss the co-benefits of their green affordable housing program, free green building credentials, and additional benefits, incentives, and tax credits you can use when serving residents seeking support. Who is this for This program is for contractors such as builders, remodelers, insulators, plumbers, HVAC, code inspectors, energy raters, and handy people who wish to get licenses and help the community while also bringing in more guaranteed revenue to their business. Coffee and light brunch provided. This session is connected to the Grand Rapids New Home and Remodel Show. However, you do not need a ticket from that to get into this, but we can get you a free ticket if you like. We want to keep talking with you at the GreenHome Institute booth at the show, and Friday at 6 pm. We are discussing the Inflation Reduction Act funding for your clients.
