The Delivery Source specializes in warehouse receiving and interior designer installation services. Our services include receiving, warehousing, storage, delivery, and installation of furniture and furnishings with a custom tailored white-glove approach. Our mission is to provide reliable and high-quality receiving, transport, and white-glove delivery and installation with meticulous attention to detail. Primary Job Description: o Receive packages from incoming freight delivery trucks and stage for processing o Perform identification and marking of new incoming freight o Perform phone calls to customers if needed to retrieve more information o Open and inspect all new incoming items for damage then re-pack/re-tape boxes o Perform administrative paperwork that identifies items o Stage inspected items for warehousing efforts o Assist in warehousing of processed items o Process waste as necessary o Process damaged items as they are found and notify supervisor immediately o Able to perform assembly of furniture and other items using hand/power tools o Perform other tasks as directed Minimum Requirements: • Warehouse experience is a plus, but is not required • Reliable with good work ethic • Excellent time management skills • Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task • High attention to detail • Must be a U.S. Citizen • Excellent communication skills • Must be able to speak English • Able to perform assembly of furniture and other items using hand/power tools • Committed to service excellence and customer satisfaction • Good team player with excellent interpersonal skills Minimum Physical Requirements: • Must be able to frequently maneuver, lift, carry, push, pull furniture/boxes weighing 50+ lbs. • Ability to frequently walk, stand, squat, stoop, kneel, lift, bend, twist, reach for the majority of your work shift • Job responsibilities may change based on the needs of the business Schedule: • Mon.- Fri 8:30am - 5:30pm. Additional work hours/days may be available on occasion, including Saturdays or evenings, as well as occasional opportunities for overtime.
