JRT Lover Needed

Description

We have a broken coat Jack Russell that needs a new home. He’s 7 months old, fully vetted, and has just been neutered. He’s our second Jack Russell but has a much higher energy level and needs a fenced yard to play in. We can’t provide that for him and he’s not great on walks. He gets overly excited, barks and pulls on his harness. I’ve tried training him but having two dogs on leash has been too much for me. He has a heart of gold and is very goofy and loyal. We have had to work through some possible allergies but I highly suspect it’s something in our yard because it clears up when he spends time away from home. I can go into more detail later. He has an adoption fee and will come with his vet records and favorite things. We love him, this is not a decision we are taking lightly. We are looking for the best new home for him so please expect lots of questions and a vet reference or proof of great vetting for other pets in the household. We would not recommend him in a house with young children because of his energy level. He’s mouthy but not mean. These were meant to be hunting dogs and he’s likely going to be true to his breed with rodents (probably not going to be good with cats either because he wants to chase neighborhood cats). Please let me know if you would like additional information and share more about the life you can give him.
