I’m thinking of starting some sort of John Prine tribute band. I’m a guitar player and singer and have been obsessing over his music the last few years. I’m thinking a duo/trio; other instrumentation to accompany his songs (acoustic guitar, bass, mandolin, banjo, etc.). Also probably acoustic, but completely open to ideas. I’m just looking to play again with others, starting as a fun time to learn some great songs and maybe even a gig. I will say I’m in my 40’s, family man/professional career. But I can commit to weekly practices and gigs hear and there. I live in Audubon, Pa and close proximity is preferred. Let me know, I’m happy to talk about it and share some samples I have.
