Fast-growing company working in the wind industry looking for travel technicians. If you have a technical background and are interested in the development of robotic technologies this position is a great fit for you. This position involves learning of operating, troubleshooting and repair of various mechanical and electronic devices and hardware. Aerones is a company based in Europe, Latvia that has developed a technology to provide automated wind turbine services. The solution is based on a robotic system and capable of providing: - Wind turbine blade cleaning; - Visual and internal inspection of the wind turbine blades; - Lightning protection system tests; - Protective and hydrophobic coating application; - Wind turbine blade repairs. Here is the technology in action (check the link): KNOWLEDGE Technical-based knowledge and skills Ability to multitask and prioritize and troubleshoot issues Demonstrated skills in operating equipment EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE Minimum OSHA 10 or GWO or similar certificates for working in heights required Previous experience in working in heights required ADDITIONAL JOB ELEMENTS Ability to work in team environments Must exhibit promptness and attention to detail Contributes to a safe working environment Ability to work in a self-directed work environment Ability to complete all basic and recurrent regulatory trainings as required Ability to perform the spill clean-up function as required Ability to read and understand operative manuals and work instructions. Physical and/or Mental Demands: May frequently lift or move materials with an average weight up to 50 lbs. without aid. May require prolonged standing, walking, bending and stooping This is a travel technician position, we are looking for technicians for our US projects and work location can be in any state. Expected project length from 2-16 weeks, possible time off between projects. The company is covering travel, accommodation and Per Diem expenses. Flexible shifts, based on project requirements.
