My old lady passed away in August and Buck has not adjusted well to being an only dog. Looking to adopt an adult dog 30lbs or under since our house is small. Pomeranians, papillons, cavalier King Charles spaniels are ideal, but willing to meet anyone who might be a good fit. They do need to be cat friendly, but it doesn’t matter if they like kids. Buck is 9 years old, 40lbs, neutered beagle. He loves to play with other dogs but is mostly a couch potato. He’s very much a follower and benefits greatly from a confident canine companion. We go hiking or to the dog park 2-3 times a week. I’m a veterinary technician and my partner works from home, so the pets are almost never alone and have access to great healthcare, and I’m well equipped to deal with almost any special needs.
