Bassist Looking for Working Band

Hello! I am a 38-year-old bassist with vocal skills, currently looking for an established or forming band who plans to get things up and running and start gigging as soon as possible. Just had to leave the band I was in because they are not looking to be at the professional level that I am striving to attain. I have more than a decade of bass playing and singing experience (though I am still very new to singing and playing at the same time). Have been in several bands and have stage experience. I play blues, rock, country, folk, Motown and classic R and B, and a little funk and reggae. I am currently a music student at Arizona State University online. I read tablature and sheet music and understand music theory. I have a thorough comprehension of roots, scales, chords, progressions, and so forth. I play and own three Fender Jazz Basses and one Fender Precision Bass. I have a fender rumble 500 amp with a 210 w cabinet extension, for a total of four 10-in speakers. Gig ready. I live in the Charlotte and Eaton Rapids area. Transportation is not an issue, as I'm willing to go or I have to go to make the dream a reality. I have a lot of passion and drive, and I'm a very hard worker. I hope to be in a band that practices no less than once a week together and plans to be gigging weekly. Covers are great. I also do a bit of songwriting and would be interested in collaborating on originals. I play and study daily, and I expect my bandmates to be practiced and ready to roll when we get together.
