We are a trial law firm seeking “mock” trial jurors — ordinary New Yorkers of all kinds — to help our clients prepare for trial. There is pay for one full day, including breaks. It shall be conducted via Zoom. This is a civil, not criminal, case. We will need mock jurors for Tuesday, January 17th beginning promptly at 2:15 pm ET and concluding no later than 5:00 pm ET. To participate, we will ask jurors to provide proof that you live in New York, Bronx, Westchester, Rockland, Putnam, Orange, Dutchess, or Sullivan counties, along with other information below. You will be required to disclose your age, ethnicity, highest educational level, whether you are employed or not, and your neighborhood of residence. If employed, please also provide your job title. Participants will receive $75 for the entire day upon completion. Those selected will be required to sign a confidentiality agreement. Payment will be sent via Zelle or Paypal and it will be transferred the day after the session. If selected, your video and audio must be on throughout the duration of the Zoom session. It is critical that you pay attention, and we will ask you to affirm that you will not be on any other devices during this time. If we believe in our discretion that someone is not paying attention or violating the terms of mock trial participation, we will terminate them from the mock jury without pay for the day.
