Melodic/Blackened/Funeral Doom metal band

Description
Local band with live experience searching for a bassist, keyboardist and singer to complete the fold. We are 3 guys who have been together for a little over a year now. We had a complete lineup but due to work commitments and personal setbacks, we are at a loss of a singer and a bassist. Our musical influences for this band are: Paradise Lost, Enslaved, Type O Negative, Mournful Congregation: the music will vary in sound but will be tasteful and melodic. What we are looking for: Singer- Male or female. If you have a wide vocal range, awesome, we would prefer you, but if are inexperienced or have a low vocal range, we will work with you and write around your sound. We want to make sure you are in a comfort zone. -We do not care if you are male or female. We wouldn't even mind having both in the mix. Bassist- someone who understands the bass. You don't have to have a formal education in music theory or be a professor, you can just simply understand your instrument and play from the heart. -If you studied jazz, please, do not apply. We are not people that like to boast about our talents or where and what we studied. It seems to be a common attitude when people like to point out just how well versed they are whenever they bring up knowing how to play jazz. Keyboardist- Keyboard/pianist will play a vital role in the band as it will complete any aura and feel of the band and music. Knowledge of theory is definitely recommended but not required. We practice 1-2 times a week, 2x depending on everyone's availability but we always practice on THURSDAY night at 730. We all have jobs so this is the best date for us. We are located on the northwest side of Chicago and have a practice room at Fort Knox Studios. We have our own equipment and are in the process of building our own sound system for practice and live settings. We are currently planning on recording songs for future release and have access to recording studios\engineers and photographers for EPK's and band photos. We are in our 30's with years of experience ranging from live gigs to recording to multiple styles of playing. We are very dedicated to our craft and maintaining a positive mindset in making this our careers. We want to carve our names in the universe and plant something that can grow into something better. We do have a band name but that will come after. If you feel like you can contribute to this band or would like to experiment, shoot an email. The main thing we ask is that you have a means of transportation and equipment. These and a high level of commitment. if you have any questions, ask away!
