Call 203-247-4273 Michael Leventhal - Sax Michael Leventhal is a saxophone player who has played with Count Basie, Lionel Hampton and various famous acts and Broadway shows in the tri-state region. Michael started the jazz series at the now closed pizzeria Laurentano along with Bob Leonard and Chris Morrison who also appear on this billing Mike Nunno - Bass Mike has performed with/and or recorded with avant-garde jazz guitar legend Sonny Sharrock. Blues legends Lucky Peterson, Phil and Buddy Guy, Sonny Rhodes, Eddie Kirkland, and James Carr. He has supported artists on many tours of Europe and other parts of the globe. Christopher Morrison - Guitar Chris began his performing career in his teens with New Haven, CT jazz organists Richard McCrae, Bobby Buster, and Eddie Buster. He has recorded and or performed with Adam Nussbaum, Lew Soloff, Joe Beck, Bennie Wallace, Harvie S, and John Stowell. Most recently he has appeared with the legendary guitarist, Joe Diorio, as his guitar duo partner. Chris’s latest recording, with saxophonist Andrew Beals entitled “Maybe Someday”, is on the Centaur record label. Dr. Ken Ciuffreda of Just Jazz Guitar magazine wrote, “Chris produces one of the most beautiful sounds I have ever heard coaxed out of a jazz guitar – great phrasing, perfect musicality, warmth, and expression – all played effortlessly with seemingly unlimited technique.” He has earned several awards for his teaching including a Distinguished Adjunct Appreciation Award and a Centennial Award for Excellence from Western Connecticut State University. Bob Leonard has been working professionally as a drummer for over fifty years He has enjoyed performing with a variety of artists including Woody Herman, Gerry Mulligan, Milt Jackson, Dave Leibman, John Scofield, Linc Chamberland and Joey Calderrazo. He has worked throughout the tri-state area and toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe. Bob combines his love of jazz, pop and Latin to create his own unique voice on the drums We're sorry, there are no refunds after tickets have been purchased. In the event of rain, snow, or other forms of weather which prohibit a performance, the performance date will be postponed and rescheduled for another date within a reasonable amount of time. If the new date is postponed, a future alternate date will be picked at the discretion of Bethel Jazz and the musical artist. The ticket holder will be notified of postponements, cancellations, and rescheduled dates via email. Tickets are non-refundable and may be transferred to another person in the event a purchaser can not make the rescheduled date. In the event, an artist cancels a date, and Bethel Jazz is unable to reschedule the artist, Bethel Jazz reserves the right to provide a substitute performer of equal quality without notice to the ticket purchaser. If a date is canceled and not rescheduled, Bethel Jazz will provide a refund (in some cases minus the Eventbrite fee) or credit for another performance at the choice of the ticket holder. Bethel Jazz will always do its best to accommodate for changes in seating, table sizes, or changes to tickets.
