The Community Table at The Lady is a ticketed event that sets out to capture what Cola Love is all about: a movement bringing people together to help build our local economic ecosystem from a place of LOVE. During the two day event, the downtown redevelopment, The Lady, will provide a space for participatory, artful and relational community discussions to envision what is possible for our city in the coming years. Topics will surround ways to support the local creative community, to stir economic development and to build innovative ideas for the future. Adding to the experience, the event will also feature local mixed media artist, Meredith Walker, to lead attendees in creating an art installation made up of these ideas, and showcased in the storefront windows in the bottom floor of The Lady complex. Cola Love invites local creatives, makers, entrepreneurs, educators, and anyone who has dreams for a vibrant and booming Columbia to come out to the Community Table. Tickets are available at www.colalove.co. Drop by to mingle, eat and create, and support other locals for two nights only. Kicking off Thursday, January 19th, Full Conversation (21+) ticket holders will enjoy food, crafts, art, ceramics and other creations from local artisans that will also be available for purchase with a future pickup date. The Community Table provides a space to test this reinvented retail concept that allows local vendors to benefit from sales without requiring inventory, setup or breakdown. The Thursday night (21+) Full Conversation tickets ($75) will include food, alcohol, music, custom-designed swag and more. On Friday, the same artisanal fun continues and $25 Community Drop In tickets (families and students) will include entry plus food with alcohol available for purchase.
