The Healing Hearts Grief Program helps children ages 5–18 process the loss of a loved one. Our program is designed to help children connect with peers and express emotions through therapeutic activities as they navigate the grief process. There are four sessions offered throughout the year. Each session focuses on a different topic: Emotions, memories, coping skills and changes. Children are encouraged to attend all four sessions and may start at any point in the program. In conjunction with our children's sessions, we offer a parent/caregiver program. The adult session will mirror the topic covered in the children's program. We strongly encourage parents/caregivers to attend all four sessions to enhance communication and increase the family’s understanding of the grief process.
