Mushroom Dyes & Identification Workshop & Wild Food Tasting Learn how to dye textiles with mushrooms! Lizz Markey and Elle Matthews share how to identify which fungi species produce excellent dyes and how to use them for creative dye projects. Participants will dye a silk scarf on-site to take home. Wild mushroom themed small-bites will be served and seasonal MushLove products will be for sale. Offered by: Lizz Markey of lizustudios Elle Matthews with MushLove Elle Matthews lives on a small farm in Northern California with her son and their animals. She is a small farmer, and forager and makes products from her forages and the food grown on her farm. She sells these products through her mushroom and wild food company MushLove as well as leading forays and events focused on mushrooms and other wild foods. She is passionate about nature and helping her community and loves connecting the two by inspiring people to become educated about and involved in the natural world around them.
