Benefit concert for Ukraine featuring the Connecticut-based Yevshan Ukrainian Vocal Ensemble. Selections include Ukrainian pieces spanning more than 500 years, much of it suppressed during the Soviet period, and arrangements rarely heard in North America. Program also includes brief translations of Ukrainian folk poems and traditional village New Year's greetings. Sponsored by the Jamestown Ukraine Relief Project.
