Description

The concept of purposefully eating in complete pitch-black dark originated with Gorge Spielmann, a blind clergyman from Zurich. When guests ate dinner at the Spielmann house, some would wear blindfolds during their meal to show solidarity with their host and to better understand his world. Please join the St. Petersburg Lions Club in solidarity as we show our support for those who are blind. 5:00 pm: Social hour, Cocktails by cash donation 6:00 pm: Blindfolded Wine Tasting 7:15 pm: Dinner followed by live entertainment Silent auction will benefit the Lions Foundation, a nonprofit organization. Seating is limited. Reservations are required.
