Description
This is Chubbs my 14 year old 4 ft 8lb Sumatran Short-Tailed Python. This snake is very special to me and I am very sad to have to rehome him. I have been diagnosed with a chronic health condition and have had to make some big changes in my life. As I am sure you can tell from the photos, he needs more than I can give him right now. He will come with his 4x2x1 enclosure pictured in the photos. He is hissy boy but is a sweet heart and has never bit me. He has a curious yet lazy personality, he loves to interact with me. I suspect he make have an RI and I don’t have the funds or resources to treat him. He means so much to me and I’ve had him for majority of his life. As it is important to me that he goes to a good home, I will require some pre-screening questions to be answered before you’d be considered. Following this, I’d like to chat about your experience and make sure he will receive the medical treatment he needs.
Pre-screening questions:
1. What experience do you have with large snakes?
2. Have you worked with sick snakes in the past?
3. Where would Chubbs be housed?
4. Are there other pets or children in the home?
5. Do you have a reptile vet you can take him to get treatment?
6. He will most likely need prolonged care including exams and injections which could cost around $300 or more. Would you be willing to pay this to get him healthy again?
Thank you for your time and interest in helping me find my boy a new home. I will get back to you as soon as possible.
