Richmond Utilities District is looking for a hardworking professional to work on our water and wastewater networks and facilities. The desired candidate will have a high school diploma or greater and have or be able to obtain a class 2 water license and class 2 wastewater license within one year of employment. The candidate will also have a valid driver’s license. RUD is looking for candidates with strong work ethic and mechanical backgrounds. Job duties will include, but not be limited to; assisting in the day-to-day operation, operations work, maintenance, and repair of the District facilities, piping, pumps, hydrants, and vehicles. The operator position will be a full-time position with competitive benefits and a starting salary based on experience. Background checks may be performed for insurance purposes.
