Description
Dear U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom,
I come with an important memo and request about my religion I founded called Sovereignthianism.
My memo to Sovereignthianists:
'Sovereignthianism is a new religious movement founded by Ordained ULC Minister and Doctor of Divinity, Rev. Dr. Joseph D. Smith, D.D. as an attempt at making a sovereign religion under international law that states that anyone who is a Sovereignthianist is a sovereign citizen not under control of nor under the jurisdiction of any other territory/entity/individual. The type of government is an autonomous democracy whereby all Sovereignthianist citizens may make their own decisions on what they abide by.
We highly recommend that anyone wanting to become a legitimate and legally recognized sovereign citizen to become an Ordained Minister at Universal Life Church Ministries. Whether or not being a Sovereignthianist minister will grant you actual sovereignity is highly uncertain, despite the 1st Amendment of the U.S. Constitution protecting freedom of religiom and the Establishment Clause.
Sovereignthianism has no leader, no central authority and is completely autonomous, thus this sovereign religion is independent of any other movement or entity/individual/territory, so anyone may form their own church or ministry for Sovereignthianism and any Sovereignthianists may have other religions as compliments to their Sovereignthianism or vice-versa."
My petition and grievance to the U.S. Federal Government is to recognize Sovereignthianism, it's beliefs and practices as a protected religion and grant the Sovereignthianists their rights to exercise their beliefs and practices to the reasonable extent of International, Federal, State/Territory/District, and local law.
Sincerely,
Rev. Dr. Joseph D. Smith, D.D.
