Seeking a skilled improv piano/keyboard accompanist for private instruction I studied voice (and music theater) for many years but I am no musician. I am looking to get out of the house and have some fun singing some of the great standards and having an accompanist that can make me sound like I know what I am doing. Someone that can follow along and fill in the gaps so-to-speak. I would like to sing one or two hours a week depending on your hourly rate. If you’re not too far, I can come to your space or find a piano practice spot close by. A success story for me would be to someday sing at a nursing home, coffee shop or restaurant and take that money and give it to who is ever accompanying me. I have a full-time job and want to live out the dream of being a cocktail singer. Think Tony Bennett circa 1950, 2 o’clock in the morning at some dingy, smoky Chicago bar.
