Seeking Buried Treasure Vocalist

Life-long musician/jazz guitarist/composer/recording artist living in the Philadelphia area, interested in forming a creative/innovative artistic project with an open-minded, mature female vocalist with a musical voice to sing my original compositions in a duo setting. No professional experience necessary. Must have: 1) A good musical ear 2) A decent sense of rhythm 3) A love for beautiful music 4) A willingness to learn original music and about music in general 5) A sense of humor :) It’s often difficult to categorize original compositions. My music spans many influences over the years. Other than my progressive jazz compositions that are more for instrumentalist, my compositions for vocal contain elements of Brazilian samba, Impressionistic scenic textures, romantic ballads and waltzes. Since my music contains many cultural influences, I am very open to any culture, including other languages for lyrics. I have no desire to do vocal jazz standards, even with my interesting arrangements. This is an original music only project. There is room for some improvisation for the vocalist but not necessary. If your singing experience has been mainstream but would like to venture in deeper exploration, this could be a great opportunity to do so. This would be an artistic venture, not a monetary goal.
