The work environment includes: *Casual appropriate work attire *On-the-job training *Neighborhood Dog Walking *Driving to Various Client Homes Have a love for animals? We are looking for animal lovers to provide professional and high level care for our clients. Experience should include taking care of your own animals and/or someone else’s pets. Candidate will be responsible for offering care for a range of animals, along with walking and picking up after various sizes and breeds of dogs. Candidate should love being outdoors, walking, driving to various client homes, and enjoy spending time with animals. Job Responsibilities Include: *Clean up after, exercise and provide care for cats, dogs and other small pets, includes dog walking services, litter box and cage cleaning *Observe and follow all instructions for outdoor and indoor play to ensure safety of the pets at all times *Feed and provide water based upon client instructions, which may be very detailed and must be followed exactly as given *Meet with potential clients to secure business and explain the details of pet sitting and dog walking *Report any pet injuries or pet illnesses to owner of business immediately *Respect clients’ homes and personal property which includes cleaning up any pet messes *Provide additional customer service as requested by clients, which may include picking up mail, watering plants and opening and closing blinds or curtains *Check and follow schedule provided by work portal system and report any issues to owner immediately Job Skills & Qualifications Required: *Must love animals *Be at least 18 years old *Have a reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license *Pass criminal background check *Ability to work varying schedules *Sign a non-compete clause Preferred but not required: *Previous experience working with animals *Ability to work weekends and holidays Job Type: Part-time 3-5 hours/week to start but more as business increases - WE ARE GROWING We are looking for someone who can eventually work up to 10 hours a week as the business grows Hours vary.
