This job requires drug screening and a driver's license! We work in all weather on rooftops, you must be comfortable with heights and ladders! POSITION: SOLAR INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN / SOLAR INSTALLERExcelent Entry Level Position into Trade JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Layout, assembly, and installation of all components of roof and ground mount solar systems for residential and commercial customers, including structurally mount racking with effective seal penetrations and install PV solar modules and invertersPrepare and clean up job siteInteract and communicate with customers in a professional, considerate, and respectful mannerEnsure and maintain high levels of quality and safety, including proper use of and adherence to PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), OSHA and company safety policyAdditional duties as assigned JOB REQUIREMENTS Driver’s License – Must have clean and valid state driver's licenseAbility to work with Tools – Basic understanding of the safe use of hand and power toolsPersonal Physical Ability – Lift, pull and push materials and equipment; Work on pitched roofs and at heights of 20’ or more off the ground; Climb ladders; Lift at least 50 pounds of equipment throughout workday; Work in extreme weather conditions and confined spaces; Wear safety gear, including harness, hard hat, work boots appropriate for roof, protective eye wear and safety vests; Work in various physical positions for extended periods of time throughout workday, including (but not limited to) squatting, stooping, bending over, standing, kneeling, and sittingPersonal Character – Respectful and attentive to both customers and co-workers; Detail oriented; Strong work ethic, including reliability (attendance and punctuality); Willingness to learn; Work independently to achieve goals and complete tasksHigh school diploma or GED required Hourly Pay: $17 Entry and up, depending on experience and work history, with benefits
