Melanin in Motion Community - this is an opportunity for adults, youth, and families to learn to ski and snowboard. This weekly event will occur at Trollhaugen recreations center and it is about a 50-60 minute drive depending on where you live, and this will be an enhanced experience and worth every minute of the drive. The goal is to commit to at least 3 lessons in 5 weeks, and please put it on your calendar and come for 5 weeks. We guarantee that you will absolutely have success and proudly call yourself a skier or snowboarder by the end of the series. We recommend that youth under 9 years of age START WITH SKIING. We have found that "3 lessons" is key to gaining enough growth to "get it". The price is 20.00 per person per event: dates Dec 30, Jan 6, 13, 20, 27, Feb 3, 10, 17, 24. The price includes : Professional Instruction Quality Equipment RentalLift TicketFamilies learning and playing togetherThe joy of learning with other Black and IPOC friends and family! You pay $5 to register and $15 at Trollhaugen on date of event. If you only need a lift ticket the price will be 15.00 also.
