JOB SUMMARY As an independent remote travel agent you will be booking a variety of domestic and international travel for clients for both leisure and business travel purposes. THE VOUCHER IS FOR THE HOTEL ONLY! ​ QUALIFICATIONS ● Must be 18 years of age or older ● Must be fluent in English ● Must own a smartphone and it is recommended that you own a computer - no equipment is provided ● Must have reliable and stable internet access JOB RESPONSIBILITIES ● Complete the certification program so that you can begin to sell travel ● Training is provided free of charge (In-person; via our website; as well as Zoom). ● Communicate with clients via email, phone, and text/message to establish rapport and to determine the clients’ travel needs ● Compile professional and personalized travel quotes for clients based on previous conversations with them ● Book and reserve the travel components clients select including flights, hotels, resorts (including all-inclusive), rental cars, cruises, rail transportation, activities and tours, concert tickets, theme park tickets, show tickets, sport event tickets, travel protection, and more ● Communicate with vendors in the case of cancellations or unexpected changes to the reservation PAY ● This is a 1099 position with commission-based pay.
