In an effort to keep unused items out of the landfill and to share the love in our community of womxn who ride bikes, we are hosting a gear swap for our riders who identify as women! Bring any cycling gear that you no longer use, clothing that never gets reached for, and parts/components that are in good shape but might be taking up space in your garage. The goal is to have an opportunity to give your neglected gear new life, and leave with gear you will actually use. Please refrain from bringing expired helmets (over 4 years old), bikes, socks, broken items, and items that are torn or unuseable. Use your best judgement on what may be appropriate to pass on to someone else.
This gear swap is in collaboration with the Cycling Gals Network, a group of women located in and around the Colorado Front Range who share their love for riding with each other, organize local group rides that welcome all types of women, and work to build a more inclusive cycling community.
Feel free to come at any point during the alloted hours of this event. Free food and drink will be provided during the gear swap! This event is part of a collaborative series of events with the Ride or Die Collective leading up to International Women's Day dedicated to our riders who identify as women.
