Lou Barnes moved to Boulder from Oklahoma in ’52 at age three; to New York City in ’60, and back to Boulder in ’73. Marketing Manager of Holubar Mountaineering (’73-’78), President of Spruce Real Estate (’78-’83), 1983 president Boulder Area Realtor Association, Managing Director RCM Government Securities (’83-’87), Co-Owner of Boulder West, a mortgage bank until 2009, and since a lender with Cherry Creek Mortgage. He is the author of the nationally syndicated weekly “Mortgage Credit News.” Married, two kids. Mountaineer, xeric landscaper, and dedicated football fan.
