Saxophonist, vocalist, keyboardist and arranger, Jay Collins, won 2 Grammy’s while part of the Levon Helm Band, and toured on sax with the Gregg Allman Band for 15 years from 2001-2016. He currently plays in the Midnight Ramble Band (from Levon Helm Studios) and along with the rest of the Midnight Ramble Horns, performed from 2018-2022 with the legendary group, “Little Feat”, while also gigging with his own band in the NY area. Jay’s group, "Northern Resistance", with Jay on sax, vocals, and even turns on keys and flute(!), delivers self-penned rock-and-roll music injected with doses of jazz and blues, and throws in well-chosen cover tunes as well.
