Fait à la main (Handmade) is the name of the textile department here at Saint Luc. The focus is on traditional crafts such as quilting, tatting, crocheting, knitting, spinning, weaving, etc. The purpose is to acquire/develop skills in these heritage crafts to preserve not only the craft itself, but also to help preserve French. If you don't speak French, you will pick up a few words and phrases as you pick up stitches! It is a terrific way to enjoy a relaxing morning, meeting fellow stitchers, enjoy a good cup of coffee, and to be productive, helping to create a finished product. Come join us! This is a free event.
