Begin a musical journey that takes you out of the formalisms of the Classical era and into the emotional ranges found in Romantic music. We highlight a brilliant but tragically unfinished masterpiece by Franz Schubert, his Symphony No. 8, “Unfinished”. We then feature a composition hailed by many as one of the greatest musical accomplishments of all time—Ludwig van Beethoven’s Symphony No. 3 “Eroica”, deemed his heroic symphony.
