Please join Dr. Reshma Khan and Mayor John Tecklenburg in celebration of our new Shifa Free Clinic location. The new facility allows for more patients in the Tri-County community to receive high quality medical care and participate in hunger prevention programs. We're excited to have special guest ICNA Relief CEO, Mr. Maqsood Ahmad to join us from Louisiana for the ribbon cutting ceremony. Doors open at 10:00am for a tour of the facility with coffee and a light snack— ceremony will begin at 10:30am. Tours will continue after the ceremony until 12:30pm. We are excited for you to join us in this pivotal moment in Shifa's history. About Shifa Free Clinic: Founded in 2012, Shifa Free Clinic has grown into a full-time comprehensive medical clinic providing Primary Care, Obstetrics, Gynecology, Pediatrics, and Ophthalmology care. Shifa Clinic serves the uninsured earning less than 250% of the Federal Poverty Level. It also offers a fully stocked full-time 5-day a week food pantry.
