Recovery Community Organizations are the engine of the recovery movement across the United States and throughout Florida. However, effectively utilizing our stories and our organizations to power this movement requires training, practice and access to decision makers. The Educating Up-Educating Out: Advocacy and Education Summit will teach peers and RCO leadership how to utilize our stories, our data, and our organizations to educate our communities, our lawmakers, and others in the behavioral health sector. Those engaged in this training will then be able to join FFR at the Recovery Day at the Capital where FFR will organize meetings with legislators and recovery champions.
