Join the Historic Capitol Museum staff for a tour of the temporary exhibition On the Steps of History: Florida’s Inaugurations. This free monthly tour is available by reservation only on a first-come, first-serve basis and will last approximately one hour. Participation is capped at 13 guests and three total tours are offered - Friday, January 13; Friday, February 10; and Monday, March 6, 2023. About the exhibition: Florida’s next inaugural ceremony will take place on the Florida Historic Capitol Museum’s “steps of history” on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in January – January 3, 2023. In honor of this exciting time for our state, join us as we explore the significant moments of this important political tradition. Artifacts, photographs, and film footage from private and public collections will showcase the pomp and prestige of Florida’s historic inaugurations.
