Martha May was found abandoned in horrible shape. She had severe demodex mange (non contagious), eye infection etc. she recovered really well. Martha does great with other dogs, big and small and that seems to help her trust people faster. She loves to play with other dogs and her toys. Martha was definitely not treated nicely by someone and will need an adopter that is prepared to help Martha build a relationship with those in her new home. It takes her a little bit longer with men but she really comes out of her shell faster and faster. Her new family should plan on working with her on confidence building. Once she trusts you, she is attached to your hip and is the most affectionate girl. She loves to play with toys and her playful side is coming out a little more each day. We are hoping to find her happily ever after soon so she can settle in with her forever family.
