Are you currently looking for work? Do you have a lot on your plate and are feeling very stressed or worried? Are you between the age of 30 and 60? If you are currently seeking employment and are interested in how the brain responds to stress, you may be able to participate in a research study to find out how stress affects the brain! We are the research team for the Brain and Stress Study (BASS) being conducted at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Our study requires three visits to UNC over the course of a month, with a total time commitment of 6 hours. In our study, participants take an FDA-approved antibiotic (minocycline) over the course of a week, as well as receive an MRI scan.
