Hello! My name is Robert. It is a lifelong dream of mine to compose scores for various forms of media. Movies, short films, video games, even commercial jingles; I'm interested in it all. I am a self-taught musician of many years (a total of 15 years experience playing and reading music), but I do hope to be able to afford going to school to study theory and film in the future in order to build up my knowledge and credibility. My portfolio is currently near non-existent, which is why I am making this offer: If you decide to hire me to write music for your project, I will provide my services free of charge. The exception is this: If you enjoy what I wrote and decide to use it, I will require proper credit to be given. (Ex. My name in the credits listed as the composer) A contract will be signed prior to me writing any music that ensures this will happen. If you do not like what I write, you have no obligation to use it, and the contract will become irrelevant. It is only a safety net to guarantee I receive proper credit IF my work is used. If the amount of audio exceeds, for example, an hour, we may then discuss compensation based on length after that point. If something of that length is likely to be needed, rates will be discussed prior to the signing of any contract and included within its terms. The genres I am most experienced in are ambient, experimental, noise, minimalist, 80's style pop/rock, and lofi. I would like to branch out into classical and more eventually, and am willing to try whatever you want in order to fit the mood you are imagining. My arsenal of instruments is made up of guitars, basses, synths, drum machines, pianos, various world instruments, a large and versatile collection of special effects, and every day objects, for the more experimental. I am not very much of a singer, but have many established connections in the area that can help me in areas that I am lacking. If this service would be of use to you, then let's help each other!
