Mover/Team Leader Position Job description We are looking for an individual with Moving experience to join our Moving company with potential to become a Team Coordinator and Lead Mover to estimate, organize and oversee residential and commercial moves in the Charleston area. This person would initially be trained to wrap load furniture and coordinate moves (must be able to lift over 50 pounds). Once mastered this person would begin to estimate their own jobs and run their own crew. To be considered for this role a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record is required. Note this position offers a the potential to move into a Driver / Mover / Team Leader position with eventual growth to driver and truck along wtih all needed equipment for the hauling. Experience for any or all of the above will increase income. Future Driver Postion Responsibilities will include the following: Map out driving routes ahead of time to determine the most expedient trip Pick up StoMo containers from the place and at the time they are set Listen to traffic and weather reports to stay up-to-date on road conditions Adjust the route to avoid heavy traffic or road constructions, as needed Being punctual to the job site and working at a steady pace to complete the job Answer clients’ questions about the area and local places of interest Skills Proven experience as a Driver A valid driver’s license A clean driving record Organization Skills to plan and coordinate jobs Can do attitude that wants to learn Minimum visual acuity of 20/50 (or corrected to 20/50) Familiarity with GPS devices Knowledge of area roads and neighborhoods Ability to lift 50 pounds A polite and professional disposition Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (e.g. at rush hour ) Situational Awareness and Attention to detail a must Job Type: Full-time Salary plus Bonus -- Josh Denton MoveMo Moving 843-425-9008 www.stomostorage.com
