Don't miss the biggest American Marketing Association event of the year when its Southern CT chapter previews Super Bowl ads days before the game — and dissects the strategy behind the ads. This fun, open-bar event will include networking, cocktails, and a dynamic presentation by marketing experts — who will preview which Super Bowl ads will score. You'll be ready for the weekend by seeing each ad before the game! Event is 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 9, at Third Place Brewery, 575 Pacific Street in Stamford. Panelists will include: Bob Knorpp, Director of Strategic Marketing and Consulting, The Cool Beans Group (moderator). Bob is leading consultant for marketing clients such as Visa, Mars, Capital One and Novartis, and also hosts one of the advertising industry's top podcasts, The BeanCast, which is approaching its 700th episode this month. Bob has interviewed almost every leader in the advertising industry and will provide incisive moderation to explore what the heck marketers are thinking with this year's Super Bowl spots. Kristien Del Ferraro, Chief Strategy Officer, Zuko. Kristien — one of the most dynamic speakers you'll ever encounter! — has two decades of experience in marketing, advertising, product design and media communications. A former director at iHeartMedia and vice president of strategy at advertising agency Doner CX, Kristien will assess the creative and branding strategies behind the Big Game ads. Ben Elberg, Senior Account Executive, The Trade Desk. Ben is an expert in programmatic advertising at The Trade Desk and will bring insights on how Super Bowl ads are targeted to audiences -- and likely be propagated in digital channels far beyond traditional television channels. Todd Engels, Vice President, Client Development, Mediassociates. Todd is a senior marketing executive with nearly three decades of experience at media, creative and branding agencies.
