Nelco Landscaping is searching for 1 individual to join our team of 5. We are looking for a positive person that is motivated to succeed in more than just daily tasks on site. Our vision is to work on high end residential and commercial landscapes and BMPs (best management practices) for stormwater management. BMPs include: permeable pavers, shoreline restoration, raingardens, etc. We are a complete design build firm that specializes in natural stone, whether that be retaining walls, stairs, patios, seat walls, or any other natural stone uses. We have worked on projects from $5,000 to $250,000 and strive to be at the forefront of the industry in both build and design. This job opportunity is full time, seasonal work starting in late March and working till early December. There is opportunity for winter employment if needed. 1) Truck Driver/Skilled Equipment Operator: This individual is required to have a high school diploma, preferably higher education of some kind. This person must also have experience in the Landscaping field and equipment capable, meaning they can operate a skid steer and excavator. The most important criteria is that this individual has a clean driving record and has experience driving a vehicle larger than a pickup (i.e. dump truck) and/or a pickup towing a trailer. This person must be able to drive a Ford 650 Dump truck/Hook truck (no special driver license needed). This job will average 45 to 55+ hours per week and work is not required on weekends. Mandatory Requirements: High School diploma Equipment operator (skid steer and mini excavator operation of 5+ years) Landscape experience 5+ years Clean Driving record Truck Driving ability (3+ of driving Landscaping truck/Dump truck/Truck and trailer) Compensation for this position: $30-$40 starting with overtime after 40 hours.
