Susan Stout, Graceful Bridge CEOLD I want to help everyone make sure that they have all the Advance Care Documents in place they need, so no one is left guessing or hoping or wondering what to do when the end of life is near- either when planned or unexpected. I understand that this is an extremely uncomfortable topic, and I believe that starting to talk about it gently goes a long way to making it more palatable. I became a Certified End Of Life Doula because of my own personal experiences with death. And I wish I had known then what I know now- how to navigate this chapter with better planning, stronger support, regain of some control over what happens along the way, and with grace. I believe Death should not only be a medical event but a holistic one. My mission is to help you live the best life that you can with the time you have left, that all are treated with respect, dignity and given a voice. This has a better chance of happening if we all take the time to put our wishes in place, not when fear and stress are the motivators. __________________ Lauralee Kelly is a spiritual healer, mentor and artist who has been practicing healing arts for more than 30 years. Lauralee works with the subtle energies of consciousness and the body to support others in a deeper relationship with themselves. She believes that presence and love are the foundations of healing. Lauralee was born in Kingston, Jamaica and grew up in South Florida. Throughout many years of deep commitment to mastering the craft of healing and self-awareness, Lauralee’s most important teacher has been her own body and life experience. She has been trained and initiated into many healing modalities including several lineages of energy medicine, Craniosacral Therapy, Somatoemotional Release, and Heart Centered Therapy. After six years of study on Maui and in Ireland, Lauralee became an apprentice of Ke Ala Hoku Ancient Lomi Lomi under Jody Mountain, in the lineage of Abraham Kawai’i, Aua’ia Maka’i’ole, ‘Uliama. For the last seven years she has studied with meditation and spiritual teacher Jeff Carreira.
