This is a unique Homebuyers Workshop, where we will hear from the actual homebuyers themselves! Their experience with the homebuying process, and how you can learn and benefit from their stories! Homebuyer #1: ROSA, First-time Home Buyer Buying your first home, or going through a divorce, can be two of life's major challenges for most of us. But, imagine having to do both at the same time! Not to mention having major surgery in the middle of all of that! That's just what Rosa, a single mom and marketing entrepreneur, did last summer. Rosa will share her experiences on how she qualified for a loan as a business owner, the homebuying process, as well as lessons learned along the way. Homebuyer #2: Mark A: Out-of-State buyer Mark and his wife, Emma were living in southern California when they made the decision to move to Las Vegas in early 2022. They purchased a new construction home in Las Vegas, which took about 6 months to build and was completed in December. Their homebuying process was not without its challenges, especially in the shifting real estate market! Mark will share their experience working with a national builder and moving to Las Vegas from out-of-state. Hombuyer #3: Carol R: Investor Carol is a seasoned home buyer and seller, currently owning 4 investment properties in Nevada, plus her own primary residence in Las Vegas. A finance executive for Silicon Valley Fortune 50 companies over the years, Carol will share her views on what constitutes a good investment property, how to work with a property management company, and what to consider when buying/selling in an unpredictable market!
