ISO: Vocalist & Drummer for local Hard Rock cover band

In search of a Vocalist and a Drummer (male or female for either) in their early 20s to mid-40s, for a Port Orange based Hard Rock cover band! (Port Orange is right outside of Daytona Beach, about an hour North East of Orlando) We’ll be performing songs by bands such as Rage Against The Machine, Godsmack, Nickelback, Buckcherry, Theory of a Deadman, Muse, Alice in Chains, Stone Temple Pilots, Breaking Benjamin and more, and our intention is to play the songs the way they were written, which includes keeping them in their original key, whenever possible. This project is not about making a living, but is instead about passion and the love of live performance. We make our living through other means, so rather than trying to be a year-round working band, our plan is to focus predominately on special events such as Bike Week, Biketoberfest and Spring Break, with occasional gigs throughout the year (which may eventually include something along the lines of bi-weekly gigs as a house band somewhere in the area). We’re looking for bandmates who will fit well with us! That said: we are 35 and 36, politically moderate (right leaning), borderline impossible to offend, and the target audience for Dave Chappelle’s comedy specials. We’re also 420 friendly and like to enjoy the occasional drink, but we never get carried away on stage. Reliable transportation, quality gear, follow-through and good communication are all a must.
