Still MISSING/STOLEN

Description
Hi, my dog Oliver has been missing since 5/29/22 from Burnsville, MS 38833. I know he was stolen because he disappeared quickly and there wasn't one single sighting of him anywhere. I posted his pictures everywhere including police stations, gas stations, did PawBoost, paid for a service to fax his pictures to local vets and animal shelters, hade flyers made up and posted them and still heard absolutely nothing. I drove around my area for months looking in backyards including checking the highway and streets for his body in case he was hit. Oliver was adopted from the Memphis Animal shelter. He was on the critical list to be euthanized simply due to mange. It seems he was taken away from his original owners due to some kind of abuse. I drove 2 hours there to adopt him and they were going to keep him overnight to neuter him. By the time I drove back home, they called me and said they wouldn't neuter him due to the mange and I could take him to my own vet. They had already started him on medication for mange. It was 4pm so I couldn't drive back up there to get him because they would be closed and so I went and got him the next morning. His mange was not that severe and it was demodectic. I did an initial visit with my vet here in MS with him and they also gave him a dose of the pill for mange and told me in 2 weeks I could schedule him to be neutered. I believe that is why some loser POS took him. He wasn't neutered and they probably wanted to use him for breeding. As if there isn't enough stray animals all over. Poor Oliver came from an abusive situation and then was stolen by someone probably for evil purposes. He's been gone for longer than I had him. I just wish Memphis animal shelter would have neutered him because he would most likely not have been stolen. He is microchipped but I don't know what good that will do. I have never in my life seen the outrageous things that happen with animals in these states. The local pet groups on FB show people picking up dogs on the street, they NEVER say they'll take a dog to check if it has a microchip and then they're offering the dogs for adoption. Anyway, these are the pictures of Oliver. I don't have that many because he wasn't with me that long before being stolen and then I lost my phone that had all my pets pictures in it. Thank you for looking out for missing pets.
