Creatives Café is an opportunity for local creatives like yourself to gather in a trusted space over conversations about creativity and community to build a resilient and connected network among artists of all kinds that call Dubuque home! These quarterly events seek to bring up to 50 creatives, arts leaders, and culture bearers of diverse races, ages, experiences, and creative interests. NEW for January 26 -- we'll be mixing in a handful of 20x20 presentations by local creatives and community organizers. In 20 seconds per each of 20 images, presenters will share prespectives on the past, present, and future of Dubuque's creative and cultural scene. Between presentation, all guests will have a chance to discuss and share their own experiences. Creatives Café is free to attend, with food and non-alcoholic beverages, both complimentary. A cash bar will be available. Attendees are encouraged to bring promotional materials such as business cards, event fliers, or similar to share with up to 50 people. Creatives Café is being hosted by members of the Arts & Culture Master Plan Accessibility, Engagement, and Inclusion Working Group in collaboration with the City of Dubuque’s Office of Arts & Cultural Affairs with funding from the Government Alliance on Race & Equity.
