Job Title: Assistant Superintendent Employment Type: Full-Time Exempt; In-person Reports to: Director of Field Operations Benefits: 401K, Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Eligible for Bonus This position is located in Augusta, GA and there is a potential for travel after the project is completed. Role Responsibilities: • Responsible for assisting the Superintendent in all aspects of the construction project throughout all phases including coordinating subcontractors, material and equipment, ensuring that specifications are being strictly followed and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget • Assist in scheduling subcontractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure a timely completion • Communicate with project team regarding material submittals as directed by Superintendent • Confirm that subcontractors are fully executing and complying with contracted scope • Identify subcontractor non-compliance with safety, health, and environmental quality standards • Advise project team all conflicts in construction progress • Ensure the job site if kept in a clean and organized manner • Assist in budgeting, bidding, and award of subcontracts • Obtain permits or approval of revisions • Identify work areas that are outside of subcontracted scope • Opening and closing of jobsite each day • Preside a preconstruction meeting with each subcontractor • Other duties as assigned Education and Experience Qualifications: • Minimum 3 years’ of verifiable experience through knowledge of trades • Computer knowledge • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedural manuals • Structured and organized • Excellent planning skills Preferred Qualifications: • Procore and CMiC experience is preferred but not required • Experience delivering Corporate Workplace, Healthcare (hospital, lab, sterile environments, etc.) or Higher Education projects   Other: • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards • This job requires frequent sitting, walking, standing bending, reaching and, often working on a computer. Due to computer usage, repetitive motions of the hands, fingers and wrists may occur • He/she must be able to navigate the jobsite and is expected to be able to comply with all safety regulations in the office and on the job site • Traveling to our other offices, clients and vendors is required • During peak workload, more than 40 hours per week will be required, which may include night and weekend work
