Description
You were on the 74 bus around 8pm, headed for Belmont. I got on at Garden Street at the edge of Cambridge Commons. You were with an older woman who appeared to be from the India/Pakistan region. Maybe your mother? She was wearing a mask but you weren’t, so I took mine off too. You kept looking back at me with the darkest eyes I’ve ever seen, even as I tried not to stare, but your face was expressionless, your eyes impenetrable. I’d like to see them again, another chance to try and make my way in.
